Strange Obsessions

As I let the water flow
through me,
I could feel it,
Feel it touching my body,
Dancing on my arm,

Reminding me of someone like me,

One who would play
with plants,
Touch their thorns and
be excited,
One who would die a bit inside
when they died,
Come to life as they rose,

As i let the water envelope me,
For a change i felt alive,
Away from here and
closer to her,

With wings protruding,
I took flight,
into my own twisted fantasy,
To find people with
Strange Obsessions
Like me,
Like us.
